Singer Sewing Machine 1851

American inventor, actor, and entrepreneur Isaac Merrit Singer is best known for his success with the Sewing Machine (pictured) and was the founder of the Singer Sewing Machine Company first established as I. M. Singer & Co. in 1851.

St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral is the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Adelaide, South Australia with foundation stone laid in 1856, construction of the tower began in 1887, however, was not completed until 1996.
