Depicting a colourful scene from a harem, the 1955 cubist oil painting by Pablo Picasso Les femmes d'Alger (Version 0) (pictured), sold for $US160 million ($AU203 million) in New York, smashing the world record for the most expensive art sold at auction in May 2015.
